Digital Marketing Specialist


The mission of the Digital Marketing Specialist is to increase leads, sales and members of the Start Today community. We expect the Digital Marketing Specialist to co-create and implement (mostly digital) marketing strategies. Contact with potential clients is mainly via social networks, email and our LMS. Start Today's main avatar is English-speaking or bilingual English/Spanish individuals.


We are seeking a highly motivated, creative and efficient Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team. You must be a mission and data-driven individual with a strong understanding of digital marketing principles for online learning communities and a proven track record of executing successful campaigns across various channels. This role requires a hands-on approach with a focus on planning, implementing, and analyzing digital marketing strategies to achieve business and impact objectives.


What will you do?


  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies across all relevant channels, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing (SMM), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, email marketing, content marketing, affiliate marketing and influencer marketing.  
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify target audiences, trends, and opportunities.
  • Plan and manage social media campaigns across all major platforms, including content creation, scheduling, engagement, and community management.
  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve website visibility and organic search rankings.
  • Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns on social media, and other relevant platforms such as Google Ads (with a low initial budget).
  • Create high-quality, engaging content for various platforms, including website copy, blog posts, social media posts, email newsletters, and landing pages.
  • Track, analyze, and report on the performance of all marketing campaigns using key metrics (e.g., website traffic, conversion rates, ROI).
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., sales, product development) to ensure alignment with overall marketing goals.
